The Queenstown Lakes District's first community showcase was hailed a major success after four sell-out shows and rave reviews.

Organised by the Three Lakes Cultural Trust, more than 2000 people attended the live shows and visual installations at the Queenstown Events Centre, and Lake Wanaka Centre over 4 days.

Powder Chutes (still under Better Than Nothing) were one of three bands chosen, from over 100 applicants, to perform on the vibrant, and eclectic line-up of musicians, artists, theatre groups, and other cultural practitioners, all based around a theme of renewal.
